Anna Junkmann has kindly lent us Barney, a very cute little man, with whom we all have fun. As well as going under saddle he cuts a very fine figure pulling a little cart or sometimes even a sleigh when it snows!
Pats It was with a heavy heart and great difficulty that I had to say goodbye to my 26 year old friend. It was totally unexpected and very sudden that we were forced to make the decision to put him to sleep.
Unfortunately a memory of my father went with him, for Pats was the first horse, with the guidance of my father, that introduced me to the highest, and most difficult, levels in jumping and dressage. Now Barney lives in the box with Greta's pony, Kimberley. They both take over the role of teaching Greta and her friends how to ride. I think the children will really miss their old friend and schoolmaster |
