My father at that time decided to buy him for me. We had quite a few wins and placings in dressage and jumping up to M level. Our biggest achievement was our versatility. Because of him we had wins and placings up to CCI***. Our highpoint was the Title of The German Championship in Luhmülen (CCI***) 2001. His amazingly special character accounted for so much; he was always a bit cheeky but when the chips were down you could always expect 100% from him. He was a fit pony and I would have loved to have continued competing him but 2005 was, for me, the right time to reitre him from the sport. He then went on to be the schoolmaster for Laura Rosner. Her mother, Claudia, was the groom of Ahlerich at the olympics and for many years the backbone of my father's stable. He took Laura from E through to L level. I was over the moon when they were the leaders in the Nachwuchschapionat in Warendorf and then again in 2007 when they were 5th at the German Junior Championships. One could not wish for a better "Professor" to learn from. Since 2008 he has enjoyed his retirement in a big, grassy paddock with lots of other horses around him. This is the least I can do to thank my fabulous partner of so many years.
